It's a Blog

I set up this blog as a way to stay connected with anyone curious about my run for Town Council - and also anyone interested in what it’s like to run a small business here in South Berwick. It’ll be a mix of updates, thoughts, and the occasional brain dump on local stuff I think is worth talking about.

My hope is that the more candid I am here, the better you’ll get to know how I think and where I’m coming from.

If I’m fortunate enough to be elected, I plan to keep using this space as a way to follow through on one of my top priorities: transparency. I don’t think it’s enough to point people to a meeting video or some scanned minutes. There’s more going on — and most people don’t have time to dig for it. We can do better at making local government more visible, and more human.

The South Berwick Reporter has been a great step forward, but I think elected officials need to step up too.
